Matti Murto's Two Visions from Kalevala (2012), for clarinet and accordion, was commissioned by Béatrice Berne (clarinet) and Vincent Lhermet (accordion) from the Kaîròs Ensemble. It was inspired by the Finnish national epic Kalevala, and it consists of two movements: Ilmatar and Kokko, the Eagle of Pohjola. Berne and Lhermet premiered the work at the Rencontres contemporaines festival in Lyon, France, on 1st June 2012.

Deux visions du Kalevala (2012), pour clarinette et accordéon, est une commande de l'Ensemble Kaîròs pour Béatrice Berne et Vincent Lhermet. Cette oeuvre de Matti Murto en deux mouvements: Ilmatar et Kokko, l'oiseau de l'air a été créée e par Béatrice Berne, clarinette et Vincent Lhermet, accordéon, le 1er juin 2012 à Lyon, dans le cadre des Rencontres Contemporaines.
